The final project tally for the Foundation Silverlight 2 Animation book is almost 190. That includes both "code along" and "completed" projects - lots of stuff to pick apart, learn from, reassemble, and apply in your own applications.
I should have a final page count towards the end of September, but from what I last heard, it's near 400.
And while I can't post projects ahead of time, here's some eye candy - a random, completely code-driven animation.

I am interested in using silverlight to program an avatar driven IM chat. Your book looks like the only one out there that addresses silverlight animations. I am a VB programmer. Is your book in C#?

Yes, the code in my book is in C#. The concepts discussed can probably be easily adapted - I originally wrote many of the examples in the book in JavaScript, then adapted them to C# for Silverlight 2.
